SEGES Danish Pig Research Centre

One of the prerequisites for running and continuously developing a profitable production of pigs is the consistent implementation of up to date know-how in Danish pig production. 

The sector board of the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, Pig Production - in cooperation with the Director of SEGES Danish Pig Research Centre - approves the pig-related research and development activities to be undertaken by SEGES.

The sector board of the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, Pig Production consists of 10 elected members; nine pig farmers and one pig advisor:

Annual reports and results
Every year in October, we publish a report presenting current trial activities and the main scientific results achieved in the past year. This provides a unique insight into our research and development activities in SEGES Pig Research Centre.
