Discussion of many radiographs associated with clinical cases
Radiography makes rabbits and small rodents literally transparent and reveals many important details. An old fashioned analogue device is as useful as modern digital equipment. The most important thing is that you USE it. In the previous masterclass I explained why radiography is so important in getting a correct diagnose as well as an adequate therapy.
In this masterclass many radiographic images will be shown and discussed, with special attention to the thorax, the abdomen, the vertebral column and the urinary tract. On many pictures more than one abnormal finding can be seen, on others (nearly) everything looks normal.
Sometimes there are really no abnormalities visible. That’s no problem. But it’s different when you miss them, because position errors. Or when you see ‘abnormalities’ that are, in fact, quite normal.
The discussed and shown pictures are images that everyone with standard radiographic facilities can make and should make. None of the images are ‘specialist only’ and the most of them are analogue.
Many images are presented in the context of a clinical case.
