Overview
Jointly organised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and VDS Training, this course is designed to equip you with the vital knowledge and insight needed to work in UK veterinary practice. You will learn from representatives of the RCVS, VDS Training, Veterinary Nurses Council, British Veterinary Association, VetAbroad and the charity Vetlife.

- The responsibilities and legal duties of veterinary professionals in the UK
- Expected standards of professional conduct
- Recognising and understanding cultural differences
- Securing your dream job in the UK
Cost
This course is free of charge.
When & where
This is an online course, which will be held on the RCVS GoToWebinar platform. We will publish the course content online during the week of 7 September 2020, so that you can watch it at a convenient time over the following week, and fit your learning around your other commitments. There will also be some questions included to help with your learning.
Live Q&A session
We will then host a live Question & Answer session on 16 September 2020, between 7pm and 8pm. We will ask for you to submit any questions you may have in advance of the Q & A session to ensure that we have the right experts to hand on the evening. Information on how to submit a question will be provided in the course materials.
