About this course
The pre-purchase veterinary examination (PPE) of a horse follows a well-established protocol, however issues can arise which rely very much on the experience and approach of the examining clinician, particularly in relation to the gait and ridden evaluation.
This webinar will review the gait and ridden assessment as part of a pre-purchase examination. It will provide essential information so that attendees can confidently perform a 5 stage vetting and provide tips on how to recognise and deal with contentious issues that arise during pre-purchase examination. It will predominantly focus on pre purchase examination in the sports and pleasure horse.
Why do this course?
This webinar is particularly useful for those veterinarians regularly performing pre purchase examinations. Delegates will learn how to assess gait abnormalities, the importance of the ridden examination and how to assess for abnormalities during ridden examination.
