PANEL DISCUSSION DESCRIPTION
International transportation of horses to equestrian events by land, sea and air does not only represent a health risk for the transported horses, but is also a logistical challenge for horse owners, grooms, trainers, veterinarians and freight carriers.
An international panel of highly experienced Team Veterinarians and the Chair of the FEI Veterinary Committee will be exchanging notes and sharing helpful tips & tricks relating to the following aspects of long-distance transportation of horses:
- Pre-Travel Preparations (incl. Vaccinations)
- Horse Transportation – Logistical & Veterinary Challenges
- Management Post-Arrival
Come prepared to share your own experiences and interact with a veterinary community of like-minded individuals from across the world dedicated to supporting the horse and the equestrian sector
Panel Discussion Registration Process: Once you have registered and upon payment, you will receive the link to access the on-demand recording for a period of 8 weeks.
