Key information
PANEL DISCUSSION DESCRIPTION
The panel discussion can either be booked together with the webinar series on 'Equine Neck Conditions & Practical Neurology for Practitioners' or as a stand alone offering. The varied backgrounds and approaches of the 3 panellists combined with the differences in equine population that they see and treat is guaranteed to generate a lively debate. Amongst others, the panellists will be debating the following controversial points:
- Are neurologic horses safe to ride? Could the vet be held liable?
- Should neurologic horses be treated with steroids?
- Do cervical articular process joint injections work?
- Should we breed from a mare or stallion with a history of neurological disease?
- EPM Diagnostics – Is it reliable?
Wobbler syndrome (cervical vertebral malformation), excluded from this panel discussion, was separately debated between Drs. Brett Woodie, Steve Reed, Barrie Grant & Amy Johnson on 15th September.
Panel Discussion Registration Process: Once you have registered and upon payment, you will receive the link to access the on-demand recording for a period of 8 weeks. If you wish to receive a Certificate of Attendance after having viewed the webinar, please get in touch with us and we will send it to you electronically.
