PANEL DISCUSSION DESCRIPTION
Chiropractic's are commonly used in the horse. However, controversy surrounds its use. The international panel consisting of three equine clinicians that utilize chiropractic's in their practice and an Equine Sports Medicine clinician will discuss chiropractic and osteopathic use in the horse. The main discussion will focus on what is actually being treated and are manipulations effective in the horse? Other discussion points will include: What are the primary differences between Chiropractic and Osteopathy? Can chiropractic be used as a diagnostic aid? How accurate are our palpation/motioning skills to actually determine joint dysfunction? Which horses need adjustments? Is chiropractic therapy useful for arthritic joints? Are there adjunctive therapies that augment chiropractic's? These and many other points will be debated providing attending vets with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts and experiences.
Panel Discussion Registration Process: Once you have registered and upon payment, you will receive the link to access the on-demand recording for a period of 8 weeks.
