Key information
This workshop will focus on problems during late pregnancy, parturition and postpartum care in the mare. Expert lectures, case presentations and interactive discussions will help participants gain more confidence in the diagnosis and treatment of periparturient issues, spanning from prepartum placentitis to postpartum metritis.
This workshop will offer the perfect forum to discuss the latest diagnostic and therapeutic strategies in the field. This workshop is aimed at veterinarians who have working knowledge of all aspects of caring for pregnant mares, parturition and postpartum care on breeding farms. The workshop will provide updated insights in the diagnostic strategies, treatment and expected outcome of common periparturient diseases. Participants will be invited to submit questions and cases in advance of the workshop. Residents-in-training are encouraged to attend this workshop and benefit from a reduced registration fee.
