Key information
An intact acoustic organ and hearing function is of vital importance for natural flight animals like horses. Not diagnosed diseases of the ear and the lack of or reduced hearing may impact the wellbeing and performance of horses. Monica Alemán, Peter Scheifele, Gerald Schusser and Inge Wijnberg will lecture on how to examine the ear, evaluate the hearing, avoid, treat and manage otological disorders of horses. This webinar series shall be followed in 2025 by an onsite 2-days-course with ample opportunity to practice the use of the diagnostic tools and discuss cases for those that register. The recordings of the webinars will be available for those registering during 6 months after they are designed and stored.
