I was asked to provide my thoughts and opinions on hoof care and foot problems from the perspective of a former horse shoer, horse owner, and educator/investigator/clinician. Specifically to address, from a personal perspective, the past, present and hoped for efforts regarding the art and science of trimming and shoeing horses.
