Systematic Approach to Efficiency Problems in an Embryo Transfer Program

One of the main factors that affect efficiency is the scale of the embryo transfer (ET) program. The larger the program the more difficult becomes to keep all the variables that affect efficiency under control. In our program the efficiency improved constantly between 1997 and 2001. During these years the program did not grow very rapidly in terms of number of donors, so the general organization of the program could not only keep up with this growth but also became better organized each season.
