Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is best known for its role in inducing regression of the paramesonephric (Müllerian) ducts in the male fetus during differentiation of the tubular reproductive system.1 Anti-Müllerian hormone is secreted by Sertoli cells in the developing testis and induces regression of the Müllerian ducts by acting through its receptor, AMHRII.
