Stay on Time of Orthopedic Wooden Blocks on Cows in Extensive Feeding System

The objective of this paper was to determine how long the orthopedic wooden blocks (TO) placed on the claws of 29 dairy cows remained fixed. These cows were fed under extensive pasture conditions.
The daily walking distance and the distribution of rainfall for the period in question are also shown in this paper. The average time that the TO remained fixed on the claw was 42.3 days, with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 161 days.
