The objective of this paper was to determine if there was an interrelationship between claw trimming and the reproductive behavior of beef bulls under grazing conditions. Sixteen Angus and Hereford males of 18 months of age and 410 kg of body weight with an average foot score of 2 were selected and randomly divided in two groups (n=8 each). Treated group received a functional claw trimming twice on day and day 90th with a 3-month interval (FCT) and control without claw treatment (NFCT). A serving capacity test was performed to all animals during 40 minutes on 30th, 60th and 90th day, where mounting ability, libido, and number of services were recorded.
