The idea of our presentation is to describe laminitis research from a clinicians perspective and from a lab researchers view embedded in the historical background of this area of research. Looking back at the real amazing multidisciplinary nature of our symposia where we have a remarkable mix of very practical and very fundamental papers and everything in between. We think time has come to get together a glance at our activities and methodology. A glance from the clinicians practical oriented perspective as well as from the rather theoretical point of view of a lab researcher.
