Basic Steps of a Finite Element Model of the Bovine Claw

Claw soundness as a central factor in bovine industry is assessed in studies dealing with claw horn mechanical properties and the biomechanics of the bovine claw, and in research concerning diseases of the bovine foot and their correlation to housing, feeding, conformation and use of the animals.
