Indications for feline urethral surgery
Feline lower urinary tract disease (e.g. FLUTD plugs, calculi)

  • Recurrent obstruction

  • Inability to catheterise or relieve obstruction

  • Calculi-induced trauma/stenosis

  • Poor response to medical management Trauma

  • Accidental (pelvic fracture, perineal trauma)

  • Iatrogenic (catheterisation, urethral surgery)

Neoplasia (<2% of cases)
Persistent priapism
