Diagnostic Imaging of the Elbow

Imaging modalities used for elbow disease include mainly radiography and CT, but MRI, ultrasonography and scintigraphy can be helpful in certain circumstances. The first part of this lecture will consider elbow dysplasia, mainly in terms of radiographic diagnosis, and a description of the British Veterinary Association / Kennel Club Elbow Dysplasia Grading Scheme will be given. In the second part of the lecture, diagnostic imaging of other types of elbow disease will be described and illustrated with numerous examples.
