Die Symptome einer Urolithiasis gehen hauptsächlich auf eine Reizung der Schleimhaut der ableiten- den Harnwege zurück, die sich klinisch in Form einer Zystitis und / oder Urethritis äußert. Die häufig- sten klinischen Symptome sind Hämaturie, Dysurie und Pollakisurie. In einigen Fällen führt die Uroli- thiasis zu einer Harnröhrenobstruktion, die einen medizinischen und chirurgischen Notfall darstellt.
