What is possible? More than most people believe, but still far less than we need it to be, especially in adult ‘real’ horses. If you considered miniatures to be horses, the list would be much longer because the continued reality we face is that we are still overwhelmed by size/weight/massive anatomy and laminitis. If all we faced were fractures in miniature horses, there would be far less depression and anxiety in equine surgeons… There are very few long bone fractures in foals that cannot be repaired unless they are unusually comminuted, or open and badly contaminated ...
