The stallion breeding soundness evaluation (BSE) includes a complete evaluation of the stallion’s behaviour (libido), a general physical examination, internal and external reproductive organ evaluation, and thorough evaluation of sperm quality. In addition, the breeding records from previous breeding seasons should be acquired and analysed.
