“Rehabilitation” means “to get back to the initial condition”. For the surgeon and his team, this rehabilitation begins just before the surgery and its length of time depends on the type of surgery (arthroscopy, tendineous surgery, osteosynthesis), the anatomic and functionnal disturbances (minimal invasive surgery or major osteosynthesis), and the activity of the horse (race, sport or leizure).
