Une étude de la maladie dentaire équine et des pathologies orales associées en Lettonie a été réalisée et incluait 645 cas sélectionnés de manière aléatoire. Le but de cette étude était de déterminer le type et l’incidence des anomalies dentaire équine en Lettonie et de trouver une corrélation avec l’age des chevaux, ainsi que des corrélations avec les autres pathologies. Les données de tous les examens ont été analysées par MS Excel Analysis ToolPak. Beaucoup de nos résultats sont comparables à ceux préalablement publiés: - La plupart des chevaux (99,7%) avaient une ou plusieurs pathologies. - La pathologie la plus fréquente était les points d’émail tranchants (61%) et l’abrasion de la muqueuse orale (49%) ...
