Résumé : Lors d’ataxie établie ou suspectée cliniquement, la technique d’imagerie diagnostique pour en déterminer la ou les cause(s) est la radiographie. L’échographie est plus sensible pour la détection des arthropathies cervicales ayant une incidence sur la mobilité de l’encolure et la locomotion. En cas d’ataxie non expliquée par la radiographie, la myélographie peut être indiquée, notamment si un traitement chirurgical est envisagé. Le scanner et l’IRM sont les techniques les plus informatives, notamment sur les compressions dorso-latérales de la moelle épinière, mais la configuration des équipements ne permet pas encore l’imagerie de la région cervicale basse.
