UNISVET is an italian non-profit society, with more than 11.000 members, that pursues the veterinarians’ continuing education, training and professional qualification.
Unisvet makes use of all educational channels for the growth and spread of the veterinary scientific culture: congresses, seminars, specialized masters and wet labs, all adherent to the highest scientific quality standards.
About the Organisation
UNISVET (Italian Union of Veterinary Societies) was born on September 10, 2004, from the merger of the Milanese Veterinary Club, the Sicilian Veterinary Club, ANVO (National Veterinary Association for Ophthalmology) and various regional delegations.
Unisvet is a non-profit association aiming at lifelong education, training and professional qualification of veterinarians.
Through all available information channels, Unisvet contributes to the diffusion and growth of the veterinary scientific culture by organizing congresses, seminars, theoretical and practical courses, executive masters and university masters, in strict compliance with the highest standards of scientific quality and reliability.
The Scientific Board guarantees the scientific quality of Unisvet's training events and is composed, almost entirely, of American and European graduates.
The Board of Directors, the highest representative statutory body, is elected every 4 years by the Shareholders' Meeting.
Unisvet is present throughout Italy to meet the needs of different geographic realities and to obtain impulses and stimuli from colleagues from all over Italy.

It is with great pleasure that UNISVET announces the foundation in 2020 of the Veterinary Dietology Group GDIVET.
The main purpose of the group is to provide the Veterinarian with a continuing high-level medical education in Animal Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics.
