Supporting rvn’s in management and leadership roles
When you have completed the course, you will feel more confident and ready to use your new found team management skills.
This is not a comprehensive list as we find we are constantly learning and improving our knowledge and skills in such a fast paced and progressive industry, but rather a general look at the skills and knowledge that seem to cover the largest areas of your work and those that you find you may need to call on most often.
Being aware of how you manage and how you are perceived by others will give you a huge insight into what is expected of you and where you need to be, it will also help you develop the knowledge required to get you there.
Managing people is a huge responsibility and you often find you are in the spotlight so your actions and decisions are scrutinised and often you are in a position where you are judged based on the choices you make.
This can be a scary position to be in, but by learning and developing management and leadership skills you can be comfortable in the knowledge that you are not only doing the right thing, but doing things right.
