Oncology is a rapidly growing field and treatment of cancer is a growth area in small animal practice. Treatment decisions markedly alter outcomes and can be a challenge to guide clients through. This online distance learning course aims to strengthen a veterinarian's ability to manage difficult cases in general practice. Peter Bennett BVSc DipACVIM (small animal internal medicine) DipACVIM (oncology) FACVSc (canine medicine) will lead you through approaches to oncological patients; specific oncological diseases; complete care of a patient; and how treatments and disease interact with the host. Peter's study guide incorporates clinical experience and important publications in oncology. Practical applications are shown through online interactive case material and class discussions of cases. An optional three day on-campus workshop of lectures and practical sessions is incorporated.
