Intra-synovial soft tissue healing of tendons, ligaments and menisci remains a challenge in all species. This course aims to discuss the clinical challenges of these injuries, the scientific background to the problem and potential therapeutic strategies for management of these conditions and promote thought-provoking discussions.

Injuries to tendons and ligaments within a synovial space do not heal in the same way as those outside synovial cavities. They can therefore present differently from extra-synovial soft tissue injuries and require different diagnostic and treatment approaches.
