Rendle D.

David Rendle is a clinical director at Rainbow Equine Hospital, North Yorkshire, where he runs the laboratory in addition to working as a specialist in equine medicine. He splits his time between providing advice and support on external laboratory samples, and seeing referred medicine and critical care cases. Since graduating from the University of Bristol in 2001 and completing a residency at the University of Glasgow, he has worked in universities in both the UK and Australia but has spent most of his career in private equine referral practice in the UK. He has a varied internal medicine caseload but has particular interests in gastroenterology, endocrinology, respiratory disease and the responsible and sustainable use of medicines. David is an RCVS and European Specialist in equine internal medicine. He sits on BEVA Council with responsibilities for ethics, welfare, health and medicines. He currently chairs the equine clinical board for the VetPartners group.
