James Crabtree is Director of Equine Reproductive Services (UK), a first opinion general equine practice specialising in equine reproduction and stud medicine. He has worked in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. James holds the RCVS Certificate in Equine Stud Medicine and is presently an honorary lecturer at Liverpool University. He lectures regularly on the national and international stage and continues to perform and publish practice-based research. He is recognised as an Advanced Practitioner in equine stud medicine and is a current member of BEVA, the Association of Racecourse Veterinary Surgeons and is a Fédération Equestre Internationale permitted treating veterinarian
