Cathal Carr qualified from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 1996 and worked in mixed practice in Northern Ireland for 5 years before becoming a partner with his wife, Anne-Marie, in a small animal and first opinion equine practice. He has been a SPVS board and Council member since 2013 with an interest in veterinary surveys and key performance indicators (KPI). He is presently Junior VicePresident of the Association of Veterinary Surgeons Practising in Northern Ireland.
