Location
Massey University, Tennent Drive, Palmerston North, New Zealand 4442

Description
Gastrointestinal disorders are common problems and can be frustrating for both clients and veterinarians. This course aims to strengthen your knowledge about the principles of gastroenterology, and by using a case-based approach you will gain additional skills to manage these cases.
This course, led by expert Craig Ruaux BVSc(Hons) MANZCVS PhD DACVIM (SAIM) , will use presentations and data from actual patients as subject material and for analysis of medical questions. Interactive, online grand rounds will be held for in-depth coverage of the gastrointestinal medicine illustrated by the case. A forum to debate the medical issues is provided.
Course materials include a study guide, textbook, online case material and readings, and the focus is on interactive discussion. At the optional three day on-campus workshop you will consolidate and extend the knowledge you have been building with face-to-face small group teaching and practical sessions.
