Title
Ultrasound of the Stifle, Suspensory Ligament & Distal Extremity A 2-Day Practical Course

Date
Feb. 21-22, 2020

Location
Animal Imaging, 500 Paddock Way, Irving, Texas, USA 75039

Description
This course focuses on regions that trouble us most: the stifle, suspensory ligament and distal extremity (pastern & coffin joint). Dr. Whitcomb will showcase her approach to each region, highlighting nuances to improve your ability to detect injuries. In the stifle, we will take an in-depth look at ultrasound of meniscal injuries, including the limitations of arthroscopy and new advances in stifle imaging. Equine radiologist, Dr. Beth Biscoe, will take it one step further and share lessons learned from advanced imaging to improve ultrasound technique. This course is designed for intermediate to advanced ultrasonographers but will benefit veterinarians at all levels. The 8 hours of wetlabs in true small-groups (2-4 vets per machine) under the supervision of experts will provide an ideal environment to learn how to maximize the utility of ultrasound to produce images you can rely on.
