Description 
Veterinary orthopedics is a rapidly growing field with new concepts and techniques constantly being developed. So much in fact, the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation was formed to advance the awareness, care and performance of sporting animals. Canine sporting activities have become increasingly more popular over the past several decades and this has increased the need for veterinarians skilled in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. This course has been specifically designed for veterinary residents and practicing veterinarians interested in fine-tuning their skills in the optimal diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation therapy needed to maximize success and allow for a return to athletic function in the canine patient. *Completion of the AOVET Small Animal Basic Principles course is a prerequisite for attending the AOVET Masterís Course on Canine Sports Medicine Traumatology
