Description
Do you want to improve your understanding of, and increase your surgical confidence, to manage the most common cause of canine pelvic limb lameness?

Over the years, many different surgical techniques have been utilised to treat cranial cruciate ligament disease. The osteotomy procedures, of which Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) has become a popular choice, are generally considered to give the most reliable and predictable results. Complications are not uncommon, however, technical mistakes can be easily avoided when important principles are understood and surgery is well executed. The goal of this one day workshop is for you to successfully plan and execute a TTA surgery. Lectures will be followed by a practical wetlab using the conventional ‘cage and plate TTA’ with plastic bone models and then cadavers.
